What is it?
In the grand tradition of desktop wooden puzzles and other office ornaments that give us a chance for productive distraction, I designed a lasercut mini treehouse for my own desk.
Big windows so you can put stuff inside of it, a roofline that allows for pen stacking, movable steps, a rope ladder (for a quick escape) and an exterior that's ripe for customization.
Why did I make a tiny treehouse?
I wanted to learn how to use Illustrator to make lasercut-ready patterns, and I also wanted a sweet tiny treehouse after I saw the one my friend Alfred made for a friend of his. And I wanted something small to play with on my desk for moments when I get stumped and need a fun way to take a break and come out of a creative standstill.
